Irrfan Khan Death: Kareena Kapoor Khan And Saif Ali Khan Condole His Demise, ‘Life Can Be Cruel’

Irrfan Khan, arguably one of the finest actors ever to have graced the Indian film screen is no more and it has sent a wave of sadness not just in the film fraternity but also the whole country. The sad news of his demise comes as a shock to every person. His last rites were performed in Mumbai in the presence of family members and a couple of close friends. Tributes started coming in from everyone associated with Bollywood and Irrfan’s co-star from Angrezi Medium, Kareena Kapoor couldn’t hold back her emotions talking about Irrfan.
Having recently worked with him in Angrezi Medium Kareena Kapoor Khan saw his journey through the tough time when his health wasn’t the best and also his wife’s strength through all this. While speaking to Filmfare, she said that it was always on her bucket list to be in the frame with him after she saw him in Maqbool. “I just had be in the frame with this electrifying actor, a persona that was incomparable when the camera was switched on. I had the pleasure of spending some time with his wife too at the shoot. Humble but even though they were going through so much at the time ...I will never forget her smile. She was the true soldier is what I gathered,” said Kareena.
“My heart swells for her but life can be cruel and the only truth we know is that we will go one day. Irrfan is at peace and in turn, his films will warm the cockles of our heart forever. Thank you for your great work only small humble way I would like to say, RIP Irrfan Khan,” she added.
Saif Ali Khan also mourned the loss, and paid condolences to Irrfan’s family. He said, “I have always thought of Irrfan Khan as perhaps the best, most watchable and most natural actor of our times. He was way too young to go. Very very sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children, and family. May God bless his soul.”
